Uganda will kick off the 35th edition of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) as underdogs.
Uganda will take part in their 8th AFCON, following previous appearances in 1962, 1968, 1974, 1976, 1978, 2017, and 2019.
Their best result to date remains reaching the Round of 16 in the 2019 edition held in Egypt.
