This competition features the five national teams affiliated with the 'North African Football Union (UNAF): Morocco, Egypt, Algeria, Tunisia, and Libya. The tournament will be played in a round-robin format, giving every team the chance to face each other.

The top three teams in the final standings will secure qualification for the Africa U-17 Cup of Nations, set to take place in Morocco from April 25 to May 15, 2026. This qualifying mini-league for the North African Union will be hosted in the Libyan city of Benghazi from March 24 to April 5, 2026.
