Girona have confirmed the departures of Viktor Tsygankov to Ajax and Minsu Kim to Rangers, moves that bring in significant funds and trim the wage bill, according to Superdeporte.

Ajax will pay less than five million euros for the Ukrainian winger. His exit comes after he made clear he did not want to stay in Segunda División with Girona, and he had shown a rebellious attitude in recent weeks. In Amsterdam he will be reunited with Míchel Sánchez, his former coach at the Catalan club.

Minsu Kim heads to Rangers after the Scottish side paid the 10 million euros release clause. The South Korean impressed in pre-season, but his sale also delivers a major cash injection for Girona.
