Albacete opened general sale at midday on Thursday 26 March 2026 after a members-only window, and their website briefly struggled under demand. By then, 700 Castellón fans had already taken the away allocations sent last week, 550 first then a further 150.
According to El Periódico Mediterráneo, the Carlos Belmonte holds 17,524, with about two thirds taken by season-ticket holders.
With few nearby rivals this season, Albacete appeals for proximity and a Saturday date, while Castellón occupy the final play-off spot.
Even so, it is unlikely to rival the landmark trip of 2006 to the heart of Castilla-La Mancha, etched in club folklore.
That year, Castellón had returned to the professional ranks after 11 seasons in Segunda B, yet were bottom before Christmas with two wins in 17. Winter arrivals lifted them and they reached Albacete with six games left, holding a seven-point cushion under Pepe Moré.
About 2,500 travelled that day. Albacete led on 35 through Carlos Aranda, and Castellón equalised on 60 via Juan Antonio Zamora. The away end vowed to return the following year, and they did, later winning 1-0 through Nakor Bueno.
For this trip, Fedpecas will run buses on Saturday at 15:00. The Carlos Belmonte is a 25-minute walk from Plaza del Altozano, Parking Avenida de España, APK2, is under 10 minutes away, and street parking is easier a little further out around Avenida de España and the university.
