Castellón are launching open trials to build their new Castellón C side, offering local amateurs a route into the team. Trials are set for 12 August at 18.00 at the Ciudad Deportiva de la Coma, with 60 candidates aged 18 to 35 vying for 18 places.

Pre-registration is required before the assessment day. “We believe there is a huge, underserved audience, and we have deliberately looked at formats like the Kings League to understand what they are doing well,” said chief executive Alberto González, speaking to El Periódico Mediterráneo.
