Alec Georgen 'to join' Lorient on three-year deal

Alec Georgen, 27, will sign a three-year deal with Ligue 1 side Lorient, according to Le Parisien.

He is scheduled for a medical on Monday before putting pen to paper.

Georgen becomes a free agent as his Dunkerque contract expires at the end of June, so Lorient will not pay a fee.

Darmstadt also showed interest, and he had been pursued in recent weeks before opting for Lorient.

A Paris Saint-Germain academy graduate, Georgen enjoyed a notable cup run with Dunkerque in 2024-2025.
