Alejandro Pozo has returned to Seville as he weighs up his next move. The Sevilla FC academy graduate is assessing several offers.

According to Vive Radio Burgos, Burgos CF are among the clubs interested in the versatile right-sided player. Pozo is taking a few days to study proposals before deciding, so no destination is assured.

He terminated his Almería contract before the window closed, which allows him to keep negotiating now the deadline has passed. He can join any club with a spare registration.

Pozo was on Sevilla FC’s books from 2013 to 2022, impressing with Sevilla Atlético before reaching the first team. He gained LaLiga experience on loans with Granada CF, RCD Mallorca and SD Eibar.

He later joined UD Almería, helped them win promotion to the top flight and spent several seasons there, then moved on loan to Jagiellonia Białystok, featuring in last season’s Conference League.

Primarily a right-back who began as a winger, he is noted for pace, dribbling and stamina, plus delivery and link play in the final third. For now he continues training while he considers his options, with his name often resurfacing around Sevilla FC’s transfer market.
