As reported by Florian Plettenberg, SK Sturm Graz midfielder Alexander Prass will undergo a medical at Hoffenheim later today.
It had recently been reported that Hoffenheim were interested in completing a deal for the versatile Austrian midfielder, and over the past 24 hours, a deal has been struck.
It is understood that the two clubs have agreed on a fee within the region of €11–€12 million for the 23-year-old, with future add-ons included.
Prass is set to sign a four-year deal with Hoffenheim, which will see him remain at the club until 2028.
In order to get a deal over the line, Hoffenheim have had to beat Southampton, Bologna, and Atalanta to the Austrian international’s signature.
During his three-year stint at Sturm Graz, Prass has featured 130 times for the club, registering 12 goals and collecting 26 assists.
The midfielder was also part of the Austrian team that made it to the round of 16 of Euro 2024, where they would ultimately come undone to a valiant Turkish side.
