Sevilla are accelerating their summer rebuild under Cordón, with one deal sealed and several low-cost targets lined up, but Grischa Prömel now looks bound for VfB Stuttgart.

Florian Plettenberg reports that the TSG Hoffenheim midfielder has chosen Stuttgart and is set to sign until June 2031. Prömel is out of contract on 30 June, and this move would close the door on Sevilla’s interest.

Sevilla have reached agreement for Patrick Mercado, the Independiente del Valle winger, despite strong Premier League competition that included Chelsea.

The club are also exploring Juan Iglesias of Getafe CF, who could arrive on a free if survival is confirmed. His LaLiga know-how and ability to cover multiple roles make him an appealing defensive addition at no transfer cost.

Another midfield option is Marius Marin of Pisa SC, who would be available on a free. The Romania international is viewed as a low-cost, ready-made fit for Almeyda’s side, valued for the balance he brings in demanding games.
