Having recently landed in Saudi Arabia, Yacine Adli has once again spoken out about Algeria. His stance is unequivocal.

Yacine Adli has left Europe to join Saudi Arabia this summer, signing with Al-Shabab. At 25, the former PSG and Bordeaux midfielder is still hoping to ignite his career. He remains determined to earn a call-up to the French national team, rather than give in to the allure of representing Algeria.

"I had already made it clear that my goal is to play for the French national team. Once I made that decision, there was no turning back—it's final. Whether I play in Saudi Arabia or Europe, nothing changes for me, and that's out of sheer respect for Algeria," he told L'Équipe.
