Angelo Fulgini leaves RC Lens for Al-Khaleej after contract release

Angelo Fulgini has left RC Lens to join Al-Khaleej in Saudi Arabia.

The club said in a statement that the midfielder had been released from his contractual obligations, with one year left on his deal.

The 29-year-old spent last season on loan at Al-Taawoun.

He arrived at Lens in January 2023 from Mainz for seven point two million euros.

Fulgini made 82 appearances for the Sang et Or, scoring six and providing four assists.

The move reduces a significant salary burden for the club.
