The Verdict

This is a really exciting capture for Bristol City

Anis Mehmeti has been great in League One for the past two seasons and also has experience of playing in the Championship for the Chairboys.

He isn’t coming to mess about, either, setting out clear ambitions that he wants to be promoted to the Premier League with the club, which admittedly seems a way off at present.

Bristol City find themselves in a tough spot at the moment, but signings like this will go a long way to helping them move up the table not just this season, but moving forwards too.

It is good to see the club re-investing the Antoine Semenyo transfer fee wisely.
