Anton Stach says Daniel Farke’s trust has driven his Leeds United form and lifted his levels this season.
He has been named by Julian Nagelsmann for pre-World Cup fixtures against Switzerland and Ghana, a nod that came after the coach publicly criticised his aerial ability.
"I have to thank him a lot because he trusts in me," Stach said to BBC Radio Leeds.
"He put me on the pitch so that I could show my abilities. Also, the way he is coaching me, I think I have to be very thankful and have to go in his office and say ‘thank you’."
Since arriving at Leeds, Stach has made 28 appearances in all competitions, with four goals and three assists, and has become a set-piece specialist.
In the Premier League he has 25 appearances and over 2,000 minutes, reflecting the responsibility he carries in midfield.
Internationally he has two Germany caps and no goals, his last outing came in June 2022.
Leeds paid £19.9m to sign him from Hoffenheim.
