Willian Arão played through back pain as Santos beat Cruzeiro 2-1 at Vila Belmiro in round 27 of the Brasileirão, and Cuca did not sound worried afterwards.
According to Diario Do Peixe, Arão again filled in at centre-back and, after feeling pain in the second half, asked to stay on to help see out the win.
Cuca said it was a knock, that Arão is medicated, and he believes there should be no consequences. He indicated he counts on the player for Atlético-MG in the Copa Sul-Americana midweek.
Everton Cebolinha enjoyed an impressive debut, starting as Santos' number seven and emerging as one of their main threats. Cuca praised his dribbling, finishing and work rate out of possession.
The coach also lauded midfielder Gustavo Henrique, stressing his intensity, clean play and ball-winning while committing few fouls. He said they managed his minutes, as with Bontempo, Rollheiser and Oliva, to freshen the side.
Defensive rotation was harder, Cuca noted, due to limited options. He added that Gustavinho is used to playing for Santos and identifies with the club's support.
