Arnau Martínez is close to becoming a Valencia player, pending an official announcement. According to Superdeporte, he reported to Paterna early before heading to IMED for routine medical tests, where he spoke to reporters.

The defender said he was very keen to be here, and revealed he had already spoken with Carlos Corberán two weeks ago as talks between the clubs accelerated.

An improved final offer led the Montilivi club to accept, despite interest from other teams.
