Arsenal extends contract agreement beyond Arteta

Arsenal have agreed a deal to keep Mikel Arteta as their manager for the long term, and the Gunners will continue looking for ways to keep their successful team intact.

In recent months, the club have also handed new contracts to some of their key players, while more members of the squad are in talks over fresh deals. Arsenal are determined not to lose any of their important players as they continue to build under Arteta.

The Gunners conducted transfer business during the last window, but their most important piece of business this season could be getting Arteta to put pen to paper on a new long-term contract.

Without the former midfielder, the project could face significant disruption, and Arsenal do not want to become too comfortable in assuming that Arteta will never consider leaving the club.

Arsenal secure Arteta’s backroom team

Giving Arteta a new contract is not the only step Arsenal have taken to keep the manager satisfied. According to Give Me Sport, the Gunners have also secured new deals for all of his assistants.

Arteta’s coaching staff have played an important role in helping the manager develop the team, while their work has contributed to the continued growth of the squad.

Keeping the group together was therefore another priority for Arsenal, particularly as the club looks to maintain their progress and continue competing at the highest level.

The new agreements mean Arteta will continue working alongside the assistants who have supported him throughout his time at the club, providing further continuity behind the scenes.

Arteta is likely to be pleased with the decision to keep his coaching staff together, given how important each member has been to the development of his team.
