FULL TIME
Arsenal begin 2026 in the same way they ended 2025, with three points in the bank as they march on to a hard-fought 3-2 win against Bournemouth.
The Gunners now sit six points clear of Aston Villa, and seven points ahead of Manchester City, who are slated to lock horns with Chelsea tomorrow at the Etihad.

We'll have six minutes of added time. Can the Gunners hold firm to bank all three points, or do Bournemouth have one final act of defiance left?
GOAL!!
But hang on! Bournemouth hit back with a thunderbolt strike from substitute Eli Junior Kroupi to pull the Cherries back within a goal!

GOAL!
Rice completes his brace and likely all three points for the Gunners as the scoreline now stands at 3-1!
Bukayo Saka gets his name among the creators on the night after being slipped into the box by Ødegaard before his cut-back picks out his England colleague in space to slip home.
Brilliant sequence from Arteta's men, with Saka now level with Cesc Fàbregas in the club's all-time goal involvements in the Premier League.

GOAL!
Declan Rice turns up once again for Arsenal and slams his chance home beyond a diving Djordje Petrović after being picked out by Martin Ødegaard at the top of the box to lift the Gunners into the lead!
That's Ødegaard's 34th assist in an Arsenal shirt as he surpasses club legend Patrick Vieira in the all-time table.
And he does love to assist Rice as well.

We're back underway at Vitality Stadium for an important 45 minutes for Arsenal as they look to keep their slim lead over Manchester City and Aston Villa at the top of the Premier League table.
HALF-TIME: Bournemouth 1-1 Arsenal
First-half goals from Evanilson (10') and Gabriel (16') see Bournemouth and Arsenal head into the halftime interval level on the scoresheet.
Despite their usual dominance in possession, the Gunners have struggled to threaten often enough, with the Cherries looking more likely to find a second.

GOAL!
Gabriel makes amends six minutes later to get Arsenal back on level terms with a thumping finish inside the box after a goalline scramble in the wake of Madueke running rampant down the right channel!

GOAL!
It's Bournemouth who take the lead in the 10th minute after Evanilson pounces on a massive mistake by Gabriel, who gives the ball away with an errant pass to his compatriot, who only has to slot it home into a half-empty net.
Not the start Mikel Arteta would have wanted.

CHANCE!
Noni Madueke has a chance to put Arsenal ahead inside the opening ten minutes, but he can only blaze his effort over the bar after freeing himself inside the area.
KICK OFF
We're underway at Vitality Stadium. Will the Gunners keep rolling, or can the Cherries produce one of the upsets of the season?
Up next, Bournemouth play host to Arsenal as the Gunners look to remain on track and make it five wins on the spin as they continue their push for Premier League honours.
The Cherries have been off the boil of late (0-4-1) and would love a chance to get back in the winner's column while impacting the title race above them.
Here's the team news, with Mikel Arteta making three changes.

FULL-TIME
Brighton 2-0 BurnleyWolves 3-0 West Ham
Vital wins for the Seagulls and Wolves on the day, and a first for Rob Edwards' side this season.
West Ham boss Nuno Espírito Santo could be in real trouble of getting the sack before 2026 has truly gotten underway.

With his 80th-minute introduction, James Milner can now boast the following...

Fifteen minutes remaining across a much quieter second half at both grounds.
As things stand, Wolves will remain bottom but go up to six points on the season, while West Ham remain in 18th on 14 points.
Brighton will climb up to 8th in the table, while Burnley will persist in 19th.
GOAL!
We're back underway and Brighton have already doubled their lead on the day in the 47th minute through Swedish midfielder Yasin Ayari!
A low drive from the 22-year-old comfortably nestles into the bottom corner for his second of the season after he picked up a loose ball before taking a touch and sliding home.
HALF-TIME
Wolves are one half of football away from a first win of the season after Rob Edwards' side have dominated a hapless West Ham at Molineux.
Brighton look good value for three points on their home patch as they lead by a goal-to-nil against Burnley thanks to a goal from Georginio Rutter.

GOAL!!
It's 3-0! Elation at Molineux!
18-year-old Mateus Mané nets his first senior goal for the club with a long-range hit from outside the area!

It's just the third time across the 2025/26 Premier League season that Wolves have netted more than a single goal.
Are they turning a corner in the New Year?

GOAL!
It's now 2-0 at Molineux!
Hwang Hee-chan converts from the penalty spot to double Wolves' advantage in the opening half of play!
Will Rob Edwards' side finally bank their first win of the season?!

GOAL!
Brighton break the deadlock with a thunderous low drive from Georginio Rutter.
That's a deserved opener for the Seagulls, with Hürzeler's outfit dominating play across the opening half-hour at the Amex.

GOAL!
And it's an early strike in the 4th minute from Wolves' Jhon Arias to put the home side out in front this afternoon!
That's a first goal for the summer signing, and what a time for it!
With that, he's also the first Colombian to ever hit the back of the net for the club.

KICK OFF
And we're underway for the pair of afternoon fixtures.
Plenty on the for all four clubs involved, each of which are looking for their first win in at least the last six Premier League fixtures.
Pascal Groß makes his return to the Seagulls and is on the bench for Fabian Hürzeler's side.
West Ham's newest man Pablo Felipe is on the bench for the Hammers.
In case you missed it earlier, Aston Villa got back to winning ways in the wake of their heavy defeat against Arsenal, with a 3-1 home win at Villa Park over Nottingham Forest.
A goal from Ollie Watkins and a brace from John McGinn would be enough for Unai Emery's outfit to coast in front of home support despite a strike from Morgan Gibbs-White to temporarily narrow the deficit.

Matchday 20 of the 2025/26 Premier League season continues this afternoon, with struggling Brighton hosting relegation-threatened Burnley at the Amex, and bottom-dwellers Wolves welcoming embattled West Ham to Molineux.
Later on, Bournemouth will play host to table-toppers Arsenal as Andoni Iraola's men look to upset the Gunners on their march to a hopeful Premier League title.
