Gunners almost impossible to stop at home

There are just two teams unbeaten at home this season - Arsenal and Sunderland. So although the Gunners conceded a last-gasp equaliser and dropped points in a 2-2 draw at the Stadium of Light in early November, that seemed easy to gloss over.

The problem is that it's one of three games that they've failed to win in their last five Premier League outings. Again, drawing 1-1 at Chelsea and losing 2-1 at third-placed Aston Villa are understandable in isolation but serious title favourites have to win the tougher games too.

This isn't one of them. It's worth noting that Arsenal's blips have all come on the road. The Gunners have taken 19 points out of 21 at home and have won three out of three in the Champions League there.

Indeed, they've won all six games in Europe and kept their 100% record with a 3-0 cruise away to Club Brugge in midweek.

Arsenal's rearguard has been hit by a series of injuries but they have plenty of back-up and Arteta was able to rotate in all areas for their trip to Belgium. That's bad news for Wolves.

Wolves still woeful under new boss Edwards

The idea of 'new manager bounce' is taking a bit of a hit in the Premier League this season.

Ange Postecoglou had a disastrous time and was soon relieved of his duties after taking over at Nottingham Forest. The Australian manager was at the helm for just eight games and didn't win any.

Since Rob Edwards left a likely promotion bid with Middlesbrough and returned to the club he represented as a player, he's taken charge of four games and Wolves have lost all of them.

To be fair to Edwards, they'd lost the previous five too so Wolves line up against the league leaders on a run of nine straight defeats.

With just two points from their 15 games, Wolves are on track to be the worst Premier League team in history, an unwanted tag held by the Derby side of 2007/8 (11 points).

Arsenal can cover handicaps

In case you're wondering whether Wolves have a sneakily good record against Arsenal, forget it. The Gunners have won each of their last eight Premier League games against the Old Gold.

The odds are predictably lopsided, with Arsenal 1/9, Wolves a massive 25/1 and The Draw 17/2.

To get to odds-against, Arsenal -2 is the requirement. But that seems a reasonable ask. It would have landed in three of their top-flight home games (v Leeds, Nottingham Forest and Spurs) and also in the 4-0 romp against Atletico Madrid.

Arsenal have beaten Olympiakos, West Ham, Brighton, Bayern Munich and Brentford by two-goal margins.

True, Wolves have only conceded 12 goals on their travels - that's actually fewer than both Liverpool and Manchester United - but they've lost two of their last three road games by three-goal margins to Fulham and Chelsea.

Arsenal have lots of hungry front players fighting for first-team action and scoring three times should cover the -2 handicap given that Wolves have managed just a single away goal in the Premier League this term.

And, to be honest, why stop at -2? No-one will bat an eyelid if Arsenal win this 4-0. The -3 is 11/4.

Combine Saka and cards in Bet Builder

There are numerous ways to get some decent odds from this game and one avenue is combining the goalscorer and cards markets.

Bukayo Saka came on as a late sub away to Club Brugge so looks set to start here.

The England star has netted in five of his 10 home games in all competitions this season and should be on penalties. Let's pencil him in for a goal.

Wolves may look half-hearted to their own fans but that hasn't stopped the card count rising.

They're 18th out of 20 in the Fair Play Table having picked up 31 yellows and two reds.

Three Wolves players were booked in the 4-1 home loss to Manchester United last time while in Edwards' only away game so far, at Villa, four of his men were cautioned.

This could be a day of chasing shadows and frustration so Over 2.5 Away Cards appeals at 11/8.
