Eliesse Ben Seghir (20) only left AS Monaco in the summer, however, as per a report from Florian Plettenberg, he could be set for a swift return to the Principality club.

Ben Seghir joined Bayer Leverkusen for a €32m fee at the start of the season, however, his adaptation to life in Germany has not been simple. He has only made 12 appearances for the Bundesliga side in all competitions and he has yet to register his first goal contribution.

Bayer Leverkusen forward currently injured

Plettenberg now understands that the Morocco international could be set to return to Monaco on loan this month. The journalist adds that the player is in search of regular game time and that talks are now ongoing.

However, Ben Seghir is currently injured. He is suffering from an ankle issue and so the deal may depend on the player’s return date, which is currently unclear.
