The Senegalese coach, Habib Beye, is eagerly awaiting Paul Pogba's return to the pitch.

Paul Pogba has been named in the AS Monaco squad for the trip to Rennes this Saturday, as part of Ligue 1's 13th matchday. Habib Beye, coach of Rennes, is hoping to see the 2018 World Cup winner at Roazhon Park the day after tomorrow.

"I'm very happy, because I'm a huge fan of the player he is, the incredible player he is, and all that he's contributed to football so far. (...) When you love football, you love Pogba for what he brings. And I will never speak about him in the past tense," continued the Breton coach. "Because I think for Ligue 1, it's fantastic to see him back in the Monaco squad, and it will be wonderful to see him on the pitch again, whether here or elsewhere. (...) Above all, he's a true lover of the game. And I think the only thing he wants today is to be able to express himself on the field again. For Ligue 1 and as a football enthusiast, I'm thrilled to see him return to the top level," he told L'Équipe.
