Mamadou Coulibaly is expected to sign a new AS Monaco deal in the coming months, with both player and club keen to continue together.

According to Nice-Matin, Monaco and the 22-year-old midfielder’s representatives have opened talks over an extension, and both parties are aligned on prolonging his stay.

The Paris-born academy graduate remains under contract until June 2028 and is an Under-21 international.

Last season he made 36 appearances in all competitions, contributing three goals and five assists.

No details have emerged yet on the planned duration of any new agreement.
