Aston Villa and Tottenham among contenders to sign Chelsea’s Nicolas Jackson | OneFootball

Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly among the clubs vying to sign Chelsea FC’s Nicolas Jackson (25), according to information from RMC Sport. Atlético Madrid are also said to be interested.

However, the Blues’ valuation of the Senegalese player at €69m is proving to be a major obstacle for his various suitors. Under contract until 2033, the Banjul, Gambia-born player is currently estimated to be worth €40m by the specialist website Transfermarkt.

On loan at Bayern Munich last season, Jackson mainly played the role of a super-sub, starting just 15 of the 34 matches he featured in across all competitions. This limited playing time did not, however, prevent him from finding the back of the net 11 times and providing four assists.

Having joined Chelsea from Villarreal CF in the summer of 2023, the Senegalese striker has made 81 appearances for the club, scoring 30 goals and providing 12 assists.
