Aston Villa said in a statement they have signed Tammy Abraham from Besiktas on a permanent deal, with the contract length undisclosed, on Tuesday.

It is a return for the England international, who scored 26 goals on loan from Chelsea in 2018-19 as Villa won promotion from the Championship.

After that spell he moved to Roma, netting 37 times between 2021 and 2024, then to AC Milan, where he scored 10 goals in 2024-25.

He has 11 caps and three goals for England.

Unai Emery’s side are third in the Premier League, four points behind leaders Arsenal, and are second in their Europa League group phase.
