Aston Villa in talks for Aaron Wan-Bissaka

Aston Villa are reportedly in talks to sign DR Congo international right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

The West Ham United man spent the summer at the World Cup representing his country after two seasons with the Hammers. But following last season's relegation, Villa could offer the 28-year-old a return to the top flight.

According to journalist Jacob Tanswell of The Athletic, the Villans have begun 'exploratory talks' for the player.

West Ham are said to be open to offers around £25 million for Wan-Bissaka which would make them a profit of £10 million on the fee when they signed the player from Manchester United back in the summer of 2024.

In total, Wan-Bissaka has played 65 times for West Ham since his arrival, scoring twice and making seven assists.
