Unai Emery’s side beat Freiburg 3–0 in the Europa League final — their biggest European night since winning the European Cup in 1982. A Super Cup win on Wednesday would complete a remarkable double and confirm Villa’s standing among Europe’s elite.

Marcel Bizot starts in goal in Martínez’s likely absence. Matty Cash and Ian Maatsen cover the full-back positions, with Victor Lindelof and Pau Torres as the central defensive partnership. Joao Gomes, who arrived from Wolverhampton Wanderers this summer, is expected to make his competitive debut in central midfield alongside Kamara.

Emiliano Buendía provides creativity in the attacking midfield positions, with Garnacho — if cleared — operating on the left. Villa’s most experienced players will be needed to keep things tight against a PSG side that has scored freely in Europe.
