Athletic recorded a €15 million profit from summer departures after an uncharacteristically busy window trimming the squad.

According to El Correo, the club had grown used to calmer summers, disrupted mainly by Barcelona’s pursuit of Nico Williams, a saga that ended in 2025 when the winger renewed until 2035, then the longest contract in Europe.

The exits spanned five first-team players and four from the reserves, with the previously known figure close to €11 million from three sales.

Loan moves were not counted in the total, with two from the first team, Gorosabel and Adama, among those temporarily leaving.
