Atlético Madrid are considering Corinthians striker Yuri Alberto after he was offered to the club, according to AS. Sporting director Mateu Alemany is analysing the player.
Any move may not be immediate, with the possibility framed for next summer. For now he is one of several options while Alemany is in Germany seeking reinforcements.
Yuri Alberto holds an Italian passport, so he would not occupy a non-EU slot.
Earlier this month Corinthians rejected a €22 million offer from Lazio, judging it below their valuation.
Roma had already listed him as an option in early December and made a proposal in August, which Corinthians turned down at €28 million.
Sporting plans also weigh on the decision, with the club intending to keep Yuri Alberto through 2026 and only consider a sale at the end of the season if figures meet expectations.
Corinthians hold 50% of his economic rights, with 10% of that share belonging to agent André Cury, and the remaining 50% with Zenit. He renewed his contract in July 2025 until July 2030, and his international release clause is €100 million.
