Atlético Mineiro edge RB Bragantino as Bernard strikes early | OneFootball

Atlético Mineiro beat RB Bragantino 1-0 in Belo Horizonte as Bernard's first half strike and Gabriel Delfim's saves sealed the points, keeping the hosts seventh and dropping the visitors from 10th to 11th in the Brasileirão.

In the 18th minute, Bernard swept a left-footed finish into the bottom right from the centre of the box.

Braga pushed before the interval, with Eric Ramires' header tipped away by Delfim (45.).

After the restart, Ignacio Sosa's crossing set up headed chances. Delfim saved from Eduardo Sasha (53.) and again from the forward (59.), then pushed away Wallace Yan's drive (60.). He later parried Fernando's close-range effort (84.).

Braga posted 23 attempts, seven on target, and won 10 corners with 59.6% possession. Galo mustered eight attempts and five corners, but their defence stood firm with 29 clearances.
