Decisive figure's saves secure home win for Atlético Mineiro | OneFootball

Gabriel Delfim produced a pivotal save in the 45th minute, anchoring Atlético Mineiro's 1-0 win over RB Bragantino.

That first half stop, clawed away from the top left after a firm header, preserved Galo's lead at a key moment before the interval.

After the restart he thwarted Eduardo Sasha from close range (53.). Moments later he got down again to repel another effort from the forward (59.).

Delfim then smothered Wallace Yan's strike from distance (60.). He followed up by holding Henry Mosquera's drive (70.). Late on, he tipped Fernando's rising effort over to finish the job (84.).

He ended with seven saves, including five from attempts inside the box, plus a high claim and a punch that calmed Atlético-MG under aerial pressure. With Braga slinging in 37 crosses and winning 10 corners, his handling and 17 recoveries steadied the back line.
