Augsburg loan Dong to Bolton, Düsseldorf ‘to sign’ Meiser with buy-back clause

Augsburg have loaned Kyliane Dong to Bolton Wanderers for 2026-27 with an option to buy. Felix Meiser is expected to join Fortuna Düsseldorf, according to Sky Germany.

The Championship side have taken Dong on a one-year deal that includes a purchase option, with specific terms kept under wraps.

Dong joined Augsburg on a free in 2025 and spent last season with Pau FC in Ligue 2 to gain experience.

The 21-year-old made 31 appearances in all competitions for the French club and scored six goals.

For Meiser, Augsburg have secured a buy-back clause in a move to Fortuna Düsseldorf for the 19-year-old centre-back, with an announcement expected soon.
