Corinthians have released a commemorative patch honouring former goalkeeper Tobias, a hero of the club’s 1976 Maracanã Invasion. The patch can be bought separately or applied to a shirt.

In a social media video, the club revisits Tobias’s story and explains how NFC technology underpins the tribute. The club says the product is already on sale, although it does not yet appear on Shop Timão or Nike’s website.

Supporters with compatible phones can tap the patch to access material recorded at the Corinthians Memorial, detailing the number one’s history and legacy.

The 1976 Invasion is the central theme of the 2026/27 kits, which revive classic Timão designs. The home shirt is all white, the away is black with white stripes. The crest has been restyled in reference to the version used from 1940 to 1980, created by former athlete Francisco Rebolo.

In early September the club unveiled a third kit in tribute to the goalkeeper, reserved exclusively for keepers. Hugo Souza wore a blue shirt on 20 September against Fluminense, while Nicole Ramos used it the next day against Bahia.
