Avaí under-15s and under-17s win at the weekend

Last Saturday, Avaí’s U-15 and U-17 teams took the field for the sixteenth round of the Campeonato Catarinense against Nação.

The U-15 side cruised to an 8-0 win, with goals from Pedro Izaac, Ygor, Gustavo Carioca (2), Pedro Lima, Arthur Leal, David, and Victor Kovalski. Coached by Lucas Garrett, the squad remains the unbeaten leader of the competition and has now reached 66 goals in 16 matches.

In the Catarinense U-17, Avaí claimed another win to wrap up Saturday afternoon. Leão won 3-1. Juan, Thiago, and João Ricardo found the net for the team. With the result, the side reaches 27 points and moves up to third place.

Both teams return to the field next Sunday (07/11) against Concórdia, away from home.
