Backed by the fans, Avaí beat Sport-PE in round 23 of Série B

On Wednesday night (19), Avaí faced Sport-PE in a match valid for the 23rd round of the 2026 Brazilian Série B Championship. Avaí won 2-1, with goals from Del Piage and Léo Gamalho for Avaí, and Diego Hernández for Sport-PE. Kickoff was at 7:30 p.m. at Dr. Aderbal Ramos da Silva Stadium (Ressacada), in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina. With the result, Avaí now has 26 points and sits in 16th place.
