Just hours before the 2025 Ballon d'Or ceremony, Spain is confident in Lamine Yamal's triumph.

Who will raise the Ballon d'Or tonight? All signs point to Lamine Yamal and Ousmane Dembélé as the two main contenders for this 2025 Ballon d'Or. Each brings strong credentials to the table: Dembouz with his titles and stats, and the Catalan with his flair and entertainment factor.

Even on the big day, it's tough to call the winner, especially with nothing leaking to the media this season. But according to Sport, Lamine Yamal will not be making the trip alone. He'll be joined by 20 people on his journey to Paris, including a DJ. A celebration has reportedly already been organized. "For me, Lamine wins, that's certain. You don't travel with 20 people if you know you're not going to win. And in France, in L’Equipe and France Football, I find that a lot of importance is given to Lamine," explained journalist Edu Aguirre on the set of El Chiringuito de Jugones.

"Lamine Yamal threatens PSG's Ballon d'Or dominance," states Marca, which also believes in the young Spanish international's coronation. In the Catalan press, however, there's a bit more caution, and Sport, for instance, considers Ousmane Dembélé the main favorite. Especially since PSG and the Dembélé camp will also be coming in numbers, and Parisian restaurateurs have reportedly already been contacted to prepare for post-ceremony celebrations.
