Palmeiras completed their final workout before facing Internacional, as Alexander Barboza trained fully and could return to the starting line-up, while captain Gustavo Gómez continues his recovery.

According to Nosso Palestra, Abel Ferreira's squad trained on Saturday morning. They face Internacional at Nubank Parque on Sunday, kick-off 16:00, in the 22nd round.

The session began with a video briefing, then moved to tactical drills on shape, movement and in-game adjustments. Set-pieces followed, and preparations ended with a small-sided game.

Gómez, recovering from a right thigh injury, stayed at the Academia de Futebol for field work under the Health and Performance unit's supervision.

Top of the table, Palmeiras are enjoying their best campaign in the points-era. After 21 matches they have 47 points, 14 wins, five draws and two defeats, a 74.6% return.

They own the second-best home record at 76.67%, behind Athletico-PR on 78.79%. Away from home they lead the division on 72.73%, ahead of Flamengo's 63.64%.

The side also boast the league's best attack, 38 goals, and the tightest defence, 16 conceded. Flamengo trail those marks on 37 scored and 18 against.
