Barcelona add Bundesliga star to striker transfer list | OneFootball

La Liga giants Barcelona have added the name of a member of the attacking ranks at Bundesliga side Hoffenheim to their transfer shortlist for next summer.

That’s according to German football insider Florian Plettenberg, who points towards Fisnik Asllani as the player in question.

It is of course common knowledge at this point that the brass at Barcelona are on the lookout for reinforcements at centre-forward with a view to next season.

As much comes ahead of the expected departure of Robert Lewandowski upon the expiration of his contract terms.

A shortlist of potential replacements, in turn, has been drawn up by Deco and co.

And as alluded to above, over recent days, a new name has been added to as much, in the form of Fisnik Asllani.

As per a report from journalist Florian Plettenberg:

‘Barcelona are monitoring Fisnik Asllani, as the promising 23 y/o striker from Hoffenheim has a written release clause for next summer. Barcelona have been informed. A move to a European top club is fully planned, and his future club are expected to compete in the Champions League. “My dream club have always been FC Barcelona — I’ve always wanted to play there,” he told Sport Bild a few days ago.

Asllani, for his part, has racked up four goals and an assist in six Bundesliga appearances this season.
