Barcelona's chances of staging a comeback in the second period were then dealt a huge blow just before the half time whistle went.

Ronald AraĂșjo, who was booked on the 32nd minute, received a second yellow card just 12 minutes later for a rash tackle on Marc Cucurella.

The dismisal drew the defender level for the most Barcelona red cards in the Champions League.
