Barcelona keeping tabs on highly rated Dortmund youngster | OneFootball

While FC Barcelona brought in some high-profile, established names from the market during the last summer transfer window, including the likes of Anthony Gordon, Karim Adeyemi, Joao Cancelo, and Rodri Hernandez, they also brought in several youngsters, the most notable of whom were Hamza Abdelkarim and Jesse Bisiwu.

Going forward, the Catalans are also keeping their eyes on some other promising talents emerging around the world. This is clear from a report from Mundo Deportivo, which cites Football Insider to claim that Barcelona scouts have been impressed by the Borussia Dortmund youngster Justin Ejodamen, and the Blaugranes are now looking to sign him.

The 15-year-old is considered as one of the brightest pearls in the academy of the German club, which has a celebrated tradition of developing top-class footballing talent. The youngster has impressed with his exceptional physical characteristics, which are unique for his age, and also his knack for scoring goals with his powerful shot. Blaugrana scouts will continue to monitor him when he plays two matches against Spanish U-16 team on 15 and 17 September in Italy.

However, signing him will not be easy, as other clubs like AC Milan and Juventus are also interested in him. Furthermore, Ejodamen cannot leave Borussia until he reaches 16 years of age, which will happen on 19 April 2027. However, this keeps open the possibility of him joining Barcelona in the next summer transfer window.

For now, it remains to be seen whether the Catalans will make the final decision to pursue him. However, they have already brought in two youngsters from Germany recently to reinforce their youth ranks, i.e., the midfielder Mirza Catovic from Stuttgart and the defender Michael Baza from Hamburg.
