FC Barcelona have not ruled out reviewing and increasing season ticket prices once Spotify Camp Nou is fully completed.
This was acknowledged on Friday by Elena Fort, the club’s institutional vice-president, who explained that the club will have to reassess its pricing policy once the construction work is finished and the stadium has all its planned facilities.
“We have always said that when we have the stadium finished, we have to analyse it because there are changes,” Fort said in an interview with Beteve, as quoted by SPORT.
The Barcelona vice-president pointed to the stadium’s new roof as an example of one of those changes, as it will alter some of the differences that previously existed between certain areas of the ground.
“The works themselves involve changes. The entire stadium will be covered,” she explained.

Fort’s comments therefore leave the door open to a restructuring of season ticket prices, with some packages potentially becoming more expensive in the future.
For now, however, Barcelona have made no decision and has not specified any possible percentage increase.
Fort stressed that, from the beginning of the Espai Barça project, one of the board’s priorities has been to prevent members from having to directly bear the cost of the construction through extraordinary payments.
She recalled that the objective was for members not to have to “dig into their pockets” to finance the new stadium or pay additional contributions.

As previously reported, the club expect the third tier not to become operational until the roof has been installed, during the 2027/28 season.
Although the structure is already almost completely built, Barcelona will prioritise the completion of the VIP rings, which are considered fundamental to the financing model for the new stadium.
As such, the opening of the third-tier, which was initially planned for the first quarter of 2027, has been pushed back until the roof is installed.
The debate over pricing is particularly significant at a time when ticket prices for high-demand matches, including the upcoming El Clasico, have generated criticism from part of the membership.
For Barcelona, the challenge will be to balance the increased revenue that the new Camp Nou needs to generate with the protection of members and season ticket holders, who remain one of the foundations of the club’s ownership model.
