Barcelona set to return to renovated Nou Camp

Barcelona are set to return to the iconic Camp Nou this Saturday when they host Athletic Club in La Liga the club have confirmed.

Renovations continue on Camp Nou which will be capped this weekend at 45,401 but should eventually hold around 105,00 when construction is complete.

For a city still building Antoni Gaudí's Sagrada Família, there will be no concern over this construction to carry on indefinitely with the work set to be finished by the end of the season.

Some supporters have already got to experience Camp Nou with an open training session having been held earlier this month.

Since renovation began on Camp Nou, Barça have been playing at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys which was renovated for the 1992 Olympic Games and previously hosted home games of Espanyol before the team moved to the RCDE Stadium.
