Barcelona star ‘not comfortable with his situation’ | OneFootball

Barcelona star Dani Olmo is not entirely satisfied with his current status in Hansi Flick’s star-studded squad. That’s according to Diario Sport, who have on Saturday provided an insight into the situation.

Midfielder Olmo has for his part played something of a bit-part role for Barcelona over the early weeks of the new campaign. Across the Blaugrana’s eight fixtures between La Liga and the Champions League, the former RB Leipzig standout has been afforded three starts.

This lack of starter’s minutes comes chiefly owing to the presence and form of Fermín López, who currently holds the edge over Olmo in Catalunya’s capital.

And though he has not yet given up hope of wrestling back first-choice status, the latter has been left somewhat unsettled by this situation as a whole.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who, amid mounting interest on the part of Bayern Munich in Olmo’s signature, report:

‘He does not feel comfortable with his situation due to his competitive gene, and it is this small doubt that Bayern want to rummage through to try to find a way to sign him.’
