Barcelona star’s €50m exit confirmed | OneFootball

La Liga giants Barcelona are set for an imminent injection of funds for use on the transfer front. This comes amid confirmation of a deal finally being put in place between the Blaugrana and Paris Saint-Germain for Ferran Torres.

Frontman Ferran has of course seen his name dominate the transfer headlines across Europe for several weeks now.

Amid an ongoing search for reinforcements in the final third with a view to the season ahead, Champions League holders Paris Saint-Germain identified the 26-year-old as the ideal addition.

Luis Enrique is understood to be a keen admirer of his fellow countryman’s talents, a key factor in PSG’s pursuit.

Ahead of the expiration of his contract terms in Catalunya’s capital in the summer of 2027, the two clubs therefore recently kickstarted negotiations over the terms of a permanent transfer.

And as alluded to above, this week, a definitive agreement has been found. As per a report from transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano:

‘Ferran Torres to Paris Saint-Germain, HERE WE GO! Deal confirmed for World Cup final hero as Barça receive a fee worth €50m from PSG. Ferran only wanted Paris, and the agreement has been sealed after being at final stages for several days. All done.’
