Barcelona star Anthony Gordon has this week named the player who has most surprised him with the level of his abilities since making the move to Catalunya’s capital.

The Blaugrana man in question? Marc Bernal.

Winger Gordon of course made the call to take his talents to La Liga this past summer, in a big-money transfer from Premier League outfit Newcastle United.

The Englishman has since gone on to slot seamlessly into Hansi Flick’s attacking setup, already looking like a fine investment on the part of the Camp Nou brass.

This week, Gordon therefore sat down for an interview with Barca’s official media channels.

During as much, the 25-year-old was drawn on a whole host of topics, including, as alluded to above, the player who has left him most surprised with his talents on the training pitch.

And as cited by Mundo Deportivo, Gordon did not hesitate to point towards midfield starlet Marc Bernal.
