Lamine Yamal remains the most valuable footballer in the world after Transfermarkt’s latest market-value update, with the Barcelona superstar holding his €220 million valuation alongside Manchester City striker Erling Haaland.
Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe remains third at €200m, meaning there has been no change among the three most valuable players in the latest update.
Yamal’s position at the top comes after an impressive start to the season for both Barcelona and Spain.
The 19-year-old has already recorded eight goals and six assists in eight matches for Barça, before adding another four goals and an assist in three appearances for the Spanish national team.
Transfermarkt’s latest figures show just how highly Yamal is valued despite his young age. His €220m valuation remains the highest in world football, with Haaland the only player matching it.

The Barcelona forward has already built an extraordinary trophy collection for a player who is still just 19, having won both the World Cup and the European Championship.
His form has also strengthened his case for the Ballon d’Or, with Transfermarkt’s valuation reflecting the status he has reached in the game.
Behind the leading trio, Michael Olise is the biggest mover among the elite, rising from €170m to €180m. Jude Bellingham remains at €160m, while Barcelona midfielder Pedri sits sixth at €150m.
Real Madrid’s Vinicius Jr. is one of the notable players to lose value in the latest update. The Real Madrid forward has dropped from €140m to €130m but remains tenth in the rankings.
Barcelona, meanwhile, have another major reason to be pleased with the update.

Pau Cubarsi has seen his valuation jump by €20m, moving from €80m to €100m after his performances for Spain.
The centre-back played every minute of the World Cup and was named the tournament’s Best Young Player.
Cubarsi’s new valuation places him among an elite group of only 26 players worldwide valued at €100m or more.
His rise alongside Yamal shows the extraordinary market value being generated by Barcelona’s young core. Pedri is already worth €150m, while Yamal remains alone at the very top alongside Haaland.
For Barça, the latest Transfermarkt update offers another indication of the financial and sporting value of the club’s young stars, with Yamal continuing to set the benchmark and Cubarsi rapidly closing the gap on football’s most expensive players.
