Barcelona’s dramatic 5–3 victory over Real Betis was not only defined by goals and attacking quality, but also by the growing influence of the club’s next generation.
Among the standout performers was Roony Bardghji, who delivered a complete display.
He found the net with a fine goal, set up Ferran Torres for another, and played a key role in the move that led to the equaliser.
After the final whistle, Bardghji spoke with visible emotion about what the night meant to him, especially after a period where opportunities had been limited.
Reflecting on his recent lack of game time and his joy at contributing, he said,
“I was coming off a period where I hadn’t played much, and I’m grateful for these minutes.
“I’m very happy about the victory,” before expressing his desire to keep building momentum within the squad – “I hope to get more minutes and be able to help the team.”
The young winger also looked back on the moment that led to his first goal as a Barcelona player, explaining how awareness and quick decision-making made the difference.

Describing the build-up and his movement in the box, he said, “I had to be in the right place.
“I saw that Pedri had the ball, and I just had to shoot if he passed it to me.”
While Bardghji lit up the wings, another young talent used his minutes wisely in midfield.
Marc Bernal stepped onto the pitch determined to show that he is steadily returning to his best level after a difficult injury period.
Despite his age, Bernal played with maturity and confidence and earned praise for his calm presence on the ball.
After the match, he shared his satisfaction with both the performance and the team result, saying,
“I’m very happy with the game and the victory. At the end of the day, we’re in the first team, and that’s what’s expected of us here.
“Having these players and competing with them is a source of pride. The important thing is that we all get along well,” he noted.
Bernal also spoke honestly about the personal challenges he has faced over the past year and how crucial these minutes are for his recovery and development.

Acknowledging that he is still on his journey back to full sharpness, he explained,
“I still have a way to go to reach my level. It’s been a difficult year for me. I’m taking advantage of these opportunities and minutes to get back into rhythm and regain my best form.”
Assessing his own performance on the night, the teenager highlighted the areas of his game where he felt most comfortable, while also stressing the importance of confidence.
“I think I’m good at dribbling and getting past defenders, and I felt very comfortable today, to be honest.”
Bernal also turned his attention to the collective mood within the squad, underlining how Barcelona’s positive run of form must now carry into Europe.
“We have been on a good run and we have to keep it up and approach Tuesday’s Champions League game in the same way,” he concluded.
