Bayer Leverkusen are pushing to add Racing Strasbourg right-back Guéla Doué before the deadline, with fee talks ongoing. Kicker reports the 23-year-old has given a basic commitment and is urging Strasbourg to let him go, leaving the price as the main hurdle.
Leverkusen are ready to build a package worth about €30m including bonuses, while Strasbourg want nearer €35m. According to Get German Football News, right-back remains the one area lacking a clear first choice despite depth, including Arthur and Lucas Vázquez.
19-year-old Tape will join UD Levante on a straight season-long loan without a purchase option and is expected back next summer. Florian Plettenberg reports Hamburger SV have a verbal agreement to take Arthur on loan, while Hamburg are also looking at Genk’s Zakaria El Ouahdi.
Two departures are already sealed. Ernest Poku has joined Beşiktaş on loan, with Kicker reporting a €3m fee and a conditional €20m purchase obligation plus a sell-on clause. Exequiel Palacios has left permanently for Ipswich Town on a deal to 2030, the fee undisclosed, though Sky Germany previously put it at €25m plus €5m in add-ons.
Further exits remain possible, with Robert Andrich’s status uncertain after losing the captaincy to Edmond Tapsoba, while Jeanuël Belocian could leave on loan or permanently.
Jonas Hofmann’s future is unresolved, and Al-Shabab are said to have made a lucrative offer. The late-window clearout under Carles Martínez looks set to continue.
