Bild reports that Saturday’s friendly between Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig forms part of the 2021 agreement that took Julian Nagelsmann to Munich.
In 2021, Bayern struck a compensation deal with Leipzig to release Nagelsmann from his contract. Reports at the time said the package could reach €25 million, with €3 million still outstanding.
The meeting at the Allianz Arena is expected to generate the bulk of that remaining sum.
If the match ends level, a penalty shootout will decide the winner, with no extra time.
The report adds that another friendly between the clubs is still to be staged as part of the agreement for Max Eberl’s move two years ago.
