Bayern ‘open to’ Alphonso Davies sale as Saudi clubs explore deal

Sport Bild reports that Bayern are open in principle to selling Alphonso Davies this summer, with the Canada captain attracting interest from Saudi Arabia.

Representatives from Saudi Arabian clubs are understood to have visited Bayern’s Säbener Straße headquarters to explore the conditions for a possible transfer.

Nothing concrete has emerged so far. Bayern are thought to be open to a sale in part because Davies earns around €15 to €20 million per year.

Whether Davies would be interested in a switch to Saudi Arabia remains doubtful.

After the Canada captain’s injury-plagued 2025/26 season, Bayern have signed Nathaniel Brown from Eintracht Frankfurt to provide competition at left-back.
