Enzo Fernandez, Moises Caicedo and Levi Colwill want to enter talks over signing improved contracts with Chelsea according to reports.
The Blues are known for offering long term heavily incentivised contracts under the Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital ownership.
The majority of signings end up putting pen to paper of six or seven years deal, with the vast majority highly unlikely to see those deals out.
Chelsea are known to reward players with either improved terms or contract extensions if they’ve performed well.
Cole Palmer signed an extension keeping him at the club until 2033, whilst Nicolas Jackson signed a similar extension, but he’s now currently on loan at Bayern Munich.

Marc Cucurella signed improved terms to his current deal last year, and Chelsea operate a strict wage policy, although it’s been reported they’d be prepared to break it for the right player.
Reece James is reportedly the current highest earner at the club, but BBC Sport have reported Fernandez, Caicedo, and Colwill want to enter contracts talks over new deals at the club.
Fernandez is under contract until 2032, with Caicedo tied down until 2031, whilst Colwill’s current deal expires in 2029.
It will be interesting to see if those players are prepared to stay within the structure or want to be paid wages beyond the current structure.
Any talk over new contracts is unlikely to take place until the summer at the earliest, but some of Chelsea’s top players are attracting interest from Europe’s biggest clubs.

Fernandez has recently been linked with a move to PSG, and Chelsea really need to secure Champions League football if they want to keep hold of their best players.
So far players have kept faith with the project, but the club need to show their best players they are serious about challenging for and winning the major trophies.
