He is not believed to be in new coach Maurizio Sarri’s plans, so could depart Bergamo. The 26-year-old plays mainly on the right wing and can cover the left.

Tottenham Hotspur under Roberto De Zerbi, Nottingham Forest and Fulham have been linked with bids, while Everton have asked about his availability.

Atalanta paid €24.3m plus add-ons to sign him from Torino in summer 2024, and his earlier clubs include Milan, Cagliari and Inter.

He made 36 competitive appearances for La Dea last season, providing two assists, and had spells out with muscular injuries. Bellanova has six senior Italy caps after debuting in March 2024.
